Any basketball fan, that pays attention, knows that performance levels reach a different level in the playoffs. Anyone that has watched Jeremy Lin over the years, must be frustrated by great regular season performance followed by virtual or actual absence in the playoffs. Houston was struggling in game one against Portland until Jeremy came in. He is carrying the team so far during a tough stretch. I'm sold on Jeremy knowing what it takes AND having the talent to be pivotal at this playoff-next-level, based on just a few minutes. All you have to see is the fire and he has it. I am now leaning towards keeping him. I had no idea that he could do this when times got tough. What happens from here? Go Rox!!! Keep it up, Lin!!!
He's playing well aside from that worst shot in the history of the NBA but "carrying the team"? Give me a break.
Everybody (sans LOHs) is happy to see Lin playing well, but OP you're just asking for it by making this thread...
Yes stepping up in the playoffs right into Shaqtin' a foo' Anyway Lin did well in his minutes. 2-5 and 2 assists isn't a great stat line but he played some solid D.
I'm not saying he is perfect, but his fire lit this team when little else was working. He missed that shot, but what about the others before the bad miss? We were down, Jeremy brought energy and we are suddenly up. I have been critical of Playoff-Jeremy, but today's performance is making that go away. Go Lin!! Keep it up!! Go Rox!! Keep it up!!
Not surprised Lin is effective against the Blazers. Let's not overreact though. I just hope he keeps this going.
Basically this, I feel like both thrive with each other. Both perform better with each other, I think Mchale should employ the smallball lineup with harden bev and lin all playing more
