last year's draft was consider to have one of the strongest talent pool, but only Yao and stoudmire stand out. and this yr, the top 3 canadiates all seems pretty strong. which yr will turn out to be the better of the two?
Last years. Caron Butler will develop into a very good player and of course, Yao and Amare will be stars. Also Jay Williams and MDJ will be very solid players. I think that in this years draft, there will be only four players who will stand out.
Good question. It's way too early to guess with any accuracy which class will be better long-term (of course). But both classes have great potential. Since both classes are so young, however, we probably won't know for another 4-5 years. That said, it appears that the 2003 class appears to have a BIT more upside. Yao and Stoudemire will unquestionably be stars for the next 10-15 years. Drew Gooden and Caron Butler will probably stand out, and Manu and Nene can be good, too. Add Jay Williams, and that's seven pretty good NBA players. LeBron, Carmelo and Darko, however, form the most anticipated draft trio since Glenn Robinson, Jason Kidd and Grant Hill were selected in 1994. They have the talent to be perennial All-Stars. With Bosh and Ford, the Class of 2003 definitely has potential to be one of the better ones in recent years.
I'm sure that the class of '02 will be the best class, and I like it a lot... By the way, speaking of the class of '02: I think Drew Gooden will become a really, really good player in the years to come!
