    I'm not sure it's pointless. Fandom is really just one form of tribalism. A franchise PR flack might want a fan base to avoid examining the darker aspects of tribalism (such as aggression toward outsiders or tribal deviants and knee-jerk support for tribal exemplars whether deserved or not), but I always pegged you as one who would think that an unexamined life isn't worth living.

    I'm headed there now! Man this nervous excitement is killing me. They cannot lose on a Sunday late night game with me having to drive home and go to sleep to get up for work. They just can't!!!

    I hope we come out with a lot of energy. I hate it when we come out lackadaisical and not ready to play. The lack of energy and focus at times is the only thing that scares me about this team.

    Well said. Yao is indeed forever a Rocket, and a living example of the phrase, "if only!" If only he could have stayed healthy. He'll always be one of my favorite Rockets.

    I'm expecting a win tonight. A tough game, but we will win it!

    this is also what concerns me. the last game against portland, we came back.

    the blazers will be ready to get theirs.
