Yes, I remember that well and we were all guessing at the time how long it would take him to revert back to old habits. It's funny, he's been amazingly clutch the 2nd half of this season but the irony is that if he would even get back to that level of D, we wouldn't need him to be clutch nearly as often.

Would be amazing if the wiz bounce the bulls. But if not, Miami will take care of biz.

If both the Bulls and Rockets make it to the 2nd round, who has the advantage? Hard to say.

If I am Melo, do I want to join Noah/Rose or Harden/Howard. A tough tough choice.

    My 2 cents on this:

Harden MORE than compensate for his D deficiency with his Offense. If he can calibrate his D further, well and good for our team. If not, I am content with what he brings to the table on a regular basis.

It is some OTHER players who should raise their level of play on a more regular basis.

I have no problem with the video. Hell, it's what happened this season.

I do think it's funny that if this video were made featuring a certain someone else there would be an all out war. Thread would be at about 50 pages by now and some of the same people who are fine with this one wouldn't be so fine with that one.

Brooks, who spent most of the year with the Rockets, has an even lower RPM than Canaan.

There would not be an all out war if the scumbags on both sides just leave the thread alone. Things would only turn ugly when these morons start joining in to stir up the pot.

I don't think you could create a similar lack-of-effort-on-D video with anyone else on the team.

It seems that you want to make this about Lin. Lin has a middling DRPM, which matches the eye-test. He's a middling defender, not a horrible one. Nowhere close to Bev, but also far better than Harden. With that said, since it seems that effort is much of the problem with Harden, let's hope he improves in the playoffs.

I could only make it through a minute of that video.

Harden can be a good defender when he tries. The only problem is he hardly tries, and that's what is frustrating.

You can be hard on guys like Lin, Nash, Nowitzki for their bad defense, but at least they give the effort and don't take defensive plays off. The worst thing is not trying.

While I don't disagree with this in spirit, I still think Dwight/Omer will make this team a top five defensive squad in the playoffs.

This video is all over the net now. Just saw it on Yahoo sport. Let's hope Harden proves the haters wrong in the playoff.

Except for maybe 5 out of 82 games, I always had the feeling that while the other 4 teammates of Harden played one-on-one defense, he was the only one playing zone all the time. A area of maybe 6'x6'.

I love the fact that somebody thought enough of Harden and his ability as a player to make this video.

This means that he is on the cusp of superstardom.....you don't see these kind of things for marginal players.

The ironic thing is that if he tried a little bit harder on D then he wouldn't have to give all of that energy on O getting points back that he allowed in the first place!!

Needless to say.. Let's just hope we continue to grow as a team and that Game 1 tomorrow night brings a focused team eh?

"Superstars" are extremely talented players who attract consistent major media attention imho....either for what they do or don't do.

Maybe, just maybe, the coaches don't have the guts to call him out on his defense ... because he is the franchise superstar and can get them fired.

Those were trolls pretending to be fans. Spending time arguing with them is the real idiocy.
