Always felt Berger was a Rockets hater with his negative 'how can Dwight/anyone leave LA' article when Dwight made his choice. This cements it.
Yahoo Ball Don't Lie - Dwyer - Rockets in 6, Freeman - Rockets in 7, Devine - Rockets in 7 http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...ets-vs--portland-trail-blazers-203636621.html
It makes me uncomfortable having people pick the Rockets to win. I'm not used to it. Back during the championship years Chris Webber was pretty much the only guy who picked the Rockets.
Saw an article on bleacher report and everyone said Rockets in 5 or 6......and then the one and only Ric Bucher said Blazers in 6. I love the Buch........
Rockets in 5 if they can dominant the paint scoring. This is so crucial and will set the tone for the rest of the series. Nothing will deflate a team's spirit than scoring easy buckets in the paint. There are basically two ways to score in the paint. 1. Dwight post game. Dwight pretty much abused every Blazer who'd guarded him. He needs to keep up his regular season dominance into this series. 2. Harden, Parsons, and Lin attacking the basket. Rockets can't swing the ball from side to side to find 'point of weakness.' Blazers are young, fast, and athletic enough to cover distance. Our offense HAS to begin with a PnR at the top of the arc. Both Asik and Dwight have to come out and set good picks for the ball handler. Harden is most dangerous when he shakes off his defender at the top of the key. Blazers are a jump shooting team. They don't have an inside game. If they win, it certainly won't be by blowouts, EVEN if they hit their outside shots. If they don't hit their 3's, Rockets will win the series easily.
