Mobley needed to sit out this game along with Steve Francis. In my opinion, he's a big reason why the Rockets ended up losing. Yes, Duncan had a lot of points in the 4th, but Mobley couldn't hit anything tonight. He hurt the Rockets more than he helped them, and still the Rockets kept running the offense through him. I don't understand it. [IMG]

try cuz he was playing injured. his rib cage hurts and he has trouble extending his elbow. did u wonder why he didnt shoot outside alot or didnt make his free throws?

i actually admire mobley for sucking it up to help the team.

Mobley was very ineffective , he couldn't do much to help the Rockets tonight. If he was so hurt, he needed to sit out like Francis did. He kept forcing the issue, and he ended up really hurting the Rockets chances tonight.

pooh... let me say something. the rockets offesnse S-U-C-K-E-D tonight. we scored what 70 something points. i will take a 65% mobley who scores some then no mobley. if we didnt have mobley we would have scored in the 60s.

    Very good post Pooh,

I totally agree with you. If he is so hurt then he can sit out like Francis; not endangering himself by maybe reinjuring his elbow. Look at Francis, I am sure Franchise could have played tonight but he didn't because he knows he probably would have hurt us. He played it safe and saved himself for the game against the Lakers Thursday.

Exactly DaryleWard, I would have rather seen more of Anderson in there instead of Mobley, he probably would have done more to help the Rockets cause tonight.

Steve wanted to play, it was the coaches that made him sit the game out

Mobley sucked, but you have to blame Rudy for running the offense through him so much. He gets some props for playing injured, but most of the offense should have gone through Olajuwon and Taylor, possibly Williams and/or Anderson (at least they have slumps to shoot out of). It's obvious Mobley's bad elbow is the reason for his bad shooting percentage; so why didn't he let someone else do the shooting tonight?

I think they were to afraid to play without both of there star guards and for some reason thought that he still needed to be in there

I am normally one of the first to stand up and b**** about the bone-headed plays Cat makes sometimes, BUT you have to give him big credit for suckin it up and playin thru the pain!!
Anyone that has ever hyper-extended their elbow before will tell you it is extremely painful to use in that condition.

So why don't yall chill out about a little lower than normal performance from the guy.
