Yeah, I don't see Rose really fitting the Rockets, though, he is an excellent passer, especially with him being 6'9. He'd be able to feed Yao pretty effectively, something he started doing alot more with Eddy Curry, helping Curry finish the season strong. But with him being 30 years old, and his contract, I don't see him being moved to the Rockets. The Timberwolves, maybe, in a Wally deal.
A better question is would taking Eddie Robinson's 3yrs and 18mill + #7 for Mobley really be worth it? Paxson has said he would like a defensive 2 guard veteran for that #7 and Robinson contract. Posey and Robinson at the 2 and 3 would be 2 long atheletic players. 6mill per over the next 3 yrs seem a lot, but getting that #7 pick would be worth it. Rice contract comes off the books after this yr.
I believe Paxson has said he wants a defensive SF, which is why there was some talk about Chicago trying to sign Posey. I'm not sure Chicago will trade for Mobely when they already have Rose at the SG.
