So to recap your player evaluations in this thread: Lin = good Anyone who could play instead of Lin in crunch time = bad Got it.
I'd like to see Parsons guard LMA exclusively. See what Batum can do against Jones, although it may get ugly. Beverley:Lillard Harden:Matthews Parsons:Aldridge Jones:Batum Howard:Lopez
I meant that if he's playing like **** then I can see us using Lin in the closing line up. But that's really the only way I can see Lin closing because the other 4 starters will most likely be confirmed playing in crunch time. I don't love Jones, but I don't hate him either. When he's on his A game and is hot he has the ability to put up points in a hurry. But when he's bad, he's so frustrating to watch. But he has length and can rebound, so I wouldn't mind him playing extensive minutes as long as he's not playing like crap.
Would you say all 30 NBA teams would pay Beverly more than Lin if both were to hit the FA market this summer?
Twin towers against Portland scares me. I'd rather have Dwight or Asik on LMA and don't worry about the size differential with Lopez. I think we'll get jumpshot to death if we roll out the twin towers against them. But hey that's why they don't pay me the big bucks. Wait, this is a Jeremy Lin thread? Oh well.
We beat Portland handily w/ Asik on LMA and Dwight on Lopez earlier this season. I wouldn't be in favor of it if we hadn't already seen it work.
And Dwight doesn't typically do well w/ covers who can force him out of the paint (which LMA definitely will).
