This team would have 60 wins with Dragic instead of Lin.

What's with Dragic and flaming out at the end of the season to miss the playoffs? Yes, I know it's a coincidence and everything, but it's still kind of funny. Thank god the Rockets are over that era of mediocrity.

    It's just your imagination.

He choked hard when the team needed him the most.

With Dragic, I say we would have miss the playoff like we already did when he was with the Rockets.

If Dragic were still a Rocket then the Harden deal wouldn't have been possible. It took an additional pick to get Harden I believe...

Why is it that everyone else PASSES to teammates for better shots, but when it comes to Lin, it's "defers". This word has been beaten to death by you guys (LOF's). It implies something like "he could score on his own anytime he wants, but unlike all the other players in the NBA, he's forced to pass it off. Not because anyone is better than him, or shoots a higher percentage, or has an open shot, or that he has no confidence taking the shot himself (he has no weaknesses!).... but because he must deferrrrrrrr.

Lin defers to Harden almost as much as the Rockets defer Lin's contract.

Goran wasn't traded... he left in free agency... we didn't get any picks from him leaving.

The poster you replied to said nothing of the sort. He said that Beverley was a good defensive fit beside Harden. The Lin and Harden can't play together theme is not supported by the data. That idea was essentially put out there by McHale's coaching staff last year in order to lay the groundwork for getting a more defensive minded PG that fit the system to start. Jeremy Lin has worked hard to re-tool his game to fit the Houston system and the results have been pretty good...an improved and very credible 3 pt shot, improved defense, an improved left hand.

That he has averaged about 15 pts. and 5.5 assists when he plays half the game or more even though he is not a starter or a primary focal point of the offense is a sign of a versatile player with a lot of talent. Rockets fans complain that Lin isn't Dragic or Lowry, but his numbers are comparable (and on some metrics better) than either of those 2 players during their stints in Houston. Ultimately, for Lin to win over Houston's fans (not that he really needs to) he will need to have a couple of strong playoff games.

You really think if the Rockets had Dragic instead of Lin they would miss the playoffs?

anytime you can lead your team to sweep the Thunder in the regular season, you're doing something good

their offense down the stretch vs the Grizz reminded me of our offense, just a lot of standing around and waiting for Bledsoe to attack.

Just don't get the dragic love affair. He chose to return to a team that gave up on him who splashed money at him after they saw him balling. It's all well and fair, but good riddance, doesn't play for the rockets anymore, hope he bought a better tv with tht player option money, can watch us in the playoffs

Dragic is No.1 at points per Pick&Roll play.

Lin is at 3rd, but Rockets run the least Pick&Roll play.

Dragic is SUN's primary playmaker, the system tailed to fit his talent.
