Will the Rockets turn into the Vipers?

    That is: Shooting 40+ 3 pointers per game with a 108+ possession per game pace. The Rockets have grown more and more like Morey's lab rat each of the past few years, but there's still a fairly big gap. The Rockets are still shooting ~20 fewer 3s each game with a ~10 possession per game slower pace.

    The Rockets as is are a pretty historically unique team. The Vipers are out of this world different. Do you think we'll continue to move in that direction over the next few years or is shooting 45% of your shots from behind the arc a little too forward thinking for today's NBA?

    We're playing at a slower pace with Dwight....

    The other part of it is layups and free throws, something the rockets team has players than can create them.

    The thing we sort of need is players who are better at layups...
