-BUT CASSPI ISN'T GETTING PAID 8M DOLLARS! LIN SHOULD BE AT LEAST... 8X BETTER!!!! :p

but nah I get your point, a lot of the threads now are posters with mega-green and it's just silly to keep blaming some imaginary enemy that's long gone, it really doesn't help that posters are so bad at spotting trolls/engage them and group everyone together.

I still hold hope for Lin, the fact taht if he could get his weaknesses even passable lends me to think he'd be a good PG given his occasional linsanitygasms/ how he plays without a ball dominant player (the numbers are clear).

A lot of posters who claim to be true rockets fans want him gone purely to clean up cfans. that is the biggest joke of all, trade him to try and make the team better/get better flexibility to chase other players, not to made it easier to sit in your basement and and stick pins in their Lin voodoo doll

Hey, LoF's don't deserve to complain about this mess with Lin on CF. They can only blame themselves. LoF's invaded CF and slung poo everywhere and now this the bed we are all sleeping in. We never asked for Lin's **** for brains, lunatic fans to crap all over our community. They chose to do so and now LoF's want to whine about the lack of fairness in criticizing him opposed to other players? If you guys didn't put this big microscope on him, Lin would have close to as many threads as any other Rockets player. Sorry, but I have no sympathies for them, only hatred. Us Rockets fans are just waiting until Lin leaves and takes his cancer with him at this point in time. Until then, we will continue to root for Lin to do well or at least not hurt us.

Watching Lin sometimes is as frustrating as watching rafer's floaters.

Lin came through at the last few minutes of the game.

The rest of it defensively, not so much.

    Some putrid defense against Rivers.

    He was okay offensively.

Big bucket at the last minute of the game and big steal by him.

    Great team effort.

Exceptional effort by our guards down the stretch --- Beverley, Harden, and Lin.

Daniels had a big three as well.

    Props to the rookie.

the goal is to give Lin as little playing time as possible. Bev coming backs helps that cause. Not Howard.

I think it's a team effort on PnR defense, NO ran great PnR and our help defense isn't there. Some were tough shots and gotta give Lin credit tonight for what he did.

Uh, Rivers was 8/24 for the night with 20 points on those 24 shots. It was fine. Why you think think limiting a guy to 33% shooting is bad defense, I have no idea....

    And Lin had 18 points, 6/8 shooting, 1/1 from 3pt, 5/5 FT, 1 ast, 1 TO, 4 reb and 4 steals. How is that "ok"... 75% FG%, 100% from 3, 100% FT%.

You have a bizarre concept of "ok"...

Yes. If we have success in the playoffs Lin will be a big part of it. I don't expect him to always shoot 75%, but we do need him to play well.

If he plays in the playoffs like he did the first couple months of the season, we'll be a hard team to knock out... assuming we get out of this funk we're in right now.

His 3pt shooting is hot (16-35) within 7games lately.
