I think we all agree the LOSS wasn't on that. People are just arguing if Harden should have passed it to Lin (or whoever else was open) instead of trying to take it up himself. I think Harden should have passed it only because of Lin being open AND the Wolves swarming on him, which led to Harden not being able to throw one up.

    In the end, damn.

He was bricking houses. But he did hit a 3 pointer a couple of possessions earlier along with a Parsons dunk which tied the game. Harden is the man so he should be taking the last shot.

Uh, no. If the Rockets choke away home court, they ain't beating anyone in the playoffs. Put it this way. Falling to the 5th seed means the Rockets would've had to lose to Denver, Minnesota, and New Orleans in their final 5 games. All of whom are mediocre ballclubs when fully healthy and all of whom were missing key players when the Rockets faced them.

Like I said earlier in the thread, if that happens, McHale is gone. It's a formality at that point.

What's with the doom and gloom?
Rockets lost a close game to a decent team and are still in driver's seat for the 4th seed.

Yeah, I'm tired of reading those quotes. This isn't November, guys. You know what's on the line in these games. If locking up home court and getting some rest can't motivate you, then retire from the NBA cuz you ain't a professional.

Why can't somebody answer the question, who was guarding Brewer?

My point is Rox are an improbable/miracle win earlier this week from not having HCA right now which is sobering. Rox can still get HCA but it doesn't take away the fact Rox are collapsing yet again down the stretch.

Thank you. One of them says it Every. Single Time. Why are y'all consistently not ready to play?

They had Parsons, Harden, Garcia, and Hamilton on him at various points of the game.

Hope you are right.Just so I understand....the Spurs bench doesn't match up with Minn. or Denvers? I don't care who we play ...if the effort is like it's been there is a high likelihood of losing.

Everything starts when Bev is out on the court,

that means McHale will not trust Lin to guard the opponent's PG most of the time and he will just switching the other guy to guard the opponent's guard, either the PG/SG, and then somehow you will have either Garcia or Casspi guarding the SG/SF.

The issue being both sucks at D already, pluse the facts that both are mainly 3 PT shooters and stay at corner more than often, so even if you will score or not, its very easy for your opponents scoring easily in fast break.

This is one of the benefit having Bev on the floor that will never show up on stats sheet.
