    Does this really affect Smith in a significant way? He was out for the season, his contract's guaranteed, and he's going to be a free agent anyway.

    He does lose out on maybe 20K in playoff money, but that's not a massive amount even for him.

    Tough break, but he's really not missing all that much and he has all summer to finish rehabbing and get signed. Unfortunate that our lack of bench depth has left us in this situation so close to the play offs.

    Wish the kid the best of luck. Seemed like a good kid with a good attitude.

    Yes, he finished much better on pnr with Lin compared to Asik. He is young, big and mobile. He was often very willing to come out from the post to pnr with the guard. Now we get an immobile guy for him. Sigh. Too bad for his bad knee. Get well soon big guy and we love to have you back.

    What happened to Greg Smith?

    Why is Chandler saying he'll miss him and Greg Smith responding "i'll miss Houston?

    Gonna miss him... always stayed ready to play whenever he was called and gave the team a boost with his catching and finishing ability in the paint... hope he can still recover from his injury down the line
