Francise record for points scored in a quarter?

    I heard that last night's 49 points in the 3rd quarter is the new franchise record afters setting it the previous game with 47. However last night on TNT, we were apparently one shy of the actual franchise record of 50 set in 1991. Which one's true? The league record is 58 points set by Buffalo.

    Our record is 50, they said we had set season highs with 47/49, damn hardens no 3! Needs to hit the gym!

    Most points scored was 50 on January, 10th, 1991 vs. the Nuggets. But they also gave up 43 points that quarter :eek:


    Last night was the second-highest in a quarter in Rockets history, outscoring the Lakers by 20 with 49 points to their 29.

    Michael Adams 39 points and 12 assists, not bad. Flies under the radar, one of the few individual players to have at least one 20pt/10 ast season
