I'm more partial to North American hardwood type defenses. Tropical hardwood is just not sustainable.

Not like anyone else in this league could guard him one-on-one. Why so bitter, Kevin?

That's classic. ESPN certainly won't be running that commercial!

All that matters is which team won

He's just got a chip on his shoulder because he's sick of everyone calling him second best.

The thing that impressed me most about Durant is the little "shimmy" thing he does to his shoulder blade right before the freethrow. Watching that just makes me want to smack him for some reason. It's like you see some punks sporting a wackass haircut with a long tiny strand of hair running down his back, makes you want to grab a pair of scissors and snip it off.

KD is a special player....kinda like Jordan. Players like him come once every decade or so. He speaks the truth.

I kind of agree with those who say that Durant intentionally changed his persona probably because he got criticized of being too nice and therefore always finished 2nd.

KD is so good right now. Anytime you can frustrate him and get him to say something like this is a victory for the entire team from the players to the coaching staff.

You can't say McHale is a bad coach in this game. He coached it perfectly. He had a great game strategy today - stop KD and make his teammates beat the Rockets - and it worked. It frustrated KD. He got nothing easy. He had to work hard for those 28 points.

Yet despite it all, they almost won this game. That's what is scary - they are so good, they still almost one this game.

But KD has to think....if those dudes are playing him 3 on 1, what's going on with the other 4 on 2?

KD has changed... Not cocky but a dumb azz. 1st he was crying about he was tiered of being #2, than he says no more Mr Nice Guy, then he says nice guys can win... He doesn't know rather he's coming or going. He wasn't like that here in Texas or Seattle. People are weird up there in the Oklahoma area (that includes Dallas) and he has adapted.

For someone who pulled a choke job last year during the playoffs he should watch his words.

    To hell with "ALMOST"...!!!!
What's scary is that the Rockets are missing TWO starters and only had a 8 man rotation with a rookie who just started getting playing time and still won...

    You're looking at it wrong.

Exactly for some damn reason the media and fans over look the fact that the Rockets are the only team left that can still improve going into the playoffs. In the playoffs the game slows down and becomes more of a half court game. Having Dwight and Omer will prove to be the key to get far into the playoffs.

Honest question with no racist intended: Do some blacks knowingly use 'was' instead of 'were' because of Ebonics, or do they know not understand the rules of grammar? Ex. "They was instead of they weren't" I notice it a lot with athletes.

He's just mad & if he wasn't 6'11 he'd just be another player. That length does wonders for him.

Sounds like Durant is developing that edge you need to take your game to the next level.
