Would really like us to go and get Patty Mills actually. Hits 3's and plays great defence. Only problem is that he does chuck it from time to time.

Their first list of targets will be Melo, Dirk, Bosh, or Love via trade and offer anything we have besides harden Howard and bev. Love, bosh are definitely not going to happen. Neither is dirk unless the slight chance Dallas missing the playoffs and us making the greatest pitch. Still, I'd say there's a 2% chance for that. Melo, also unlikely, especially if Knicks make playoffs. After that who knows, probably just glue guys. I think someone like Marion would make us a lot better but I can never picture him wanting to be a rocket. Can't picture any mavs guys wanting to be a rocket.

By the way Lins play is really hurting his value. Imagine he had stepped it up just like asik with Howard out. We could actually had a hell of a trade offer this summer along with tjones or parsons.

Let's get some bargains up in here!!!! I'll start with dumping Lin (if at all possible - probably not) for Ramon Sessions. Can fill same role better at half the price. He's a free agent this summer. Only made $5 million this year. Can't shoot that well, but the dude can get in the paint and create offense when Harden is sitting.

GREG MONROE! trade Omar and Lin for Monroe and (insert cap fit here[maybe charlie V]). I would be fine keeping asik and Lin, but adding Monroe sure would be fun too !

I would get Sefolosha just so he could play behind Harden. Just makes more sense to me.

He'll try for a star (Love, Bosh, Melo) first, of course, and if that fails he'll look to add mid-tier guys on one year deals. Marion is an interesting option if you give him the full MLE for one year with a team option on the second. I doubt guys like Ariza will be added unless Morey has already acquired a star player or two All-Star caliber guys like Lowry and Millsap. A multi year contract will be hard to dump on the fly if Love/LMA/Gasol/etc. are available in the summer of 2015.

Dirk is an interesting case as he's definitely a star talent, but has serious questions on how much longer he can sustain that level of play. And you're obviously not going to acquire him with a one year deal.
