[NYDNews]Law suit claims Rockets players harassed gay man

How can this lawsuit prosper when he can't even identify who said what comments? He admitted he had his back turned.

He can't file a case unless the eyewitness will testify for him, and for that person I'd guess his job with the Nets would be more important.

What if the players are already on another team? Was the game last season? I'm trying to imagine who could say such a thing--Smith? Beverley? Anderson? Harden doesn't seem to be the type to notice others around him.

Maybe they were not talking to him but joking among themselves... For example lets assume Jeremy Lin had 8 TO that game and Harden screamed " Get this f@#$%@ out of here" talking about Lin and then Jeremy Lin ran to where he heard that and caught Parsons changing then Parsons started giggling and screamed " He is trying to catch a sneaky peeky" all while they gay guy was turned around.....

He is extremely flamboyant. That's evident from his remaining internet presence. He works for a gay fashion magazine. There are people that you can fairly label as gay without asking them. It's self evident.

 

He might have been dressed or accessorized or speak in a way with overt homosexual markers.

Regardless, people shouldn't be attacking a guy for bringing this to attention. While we don't know the facts, and what is true and what is not, I think you have to take these kinds of things with an ounce of gravitas.

This is serious stuff. Perhaps not from a legal standpoint, but from a humanistic one.

 

could very well be another form of "gay tipping hoax" trying to get their 15min or payday, so can't assume anything.

 

Here's what likely happened:

Dude sucks at his job. Uses his sexual orientation as a crutch and is the only reasons his employer hasn't canned him yet, fearing a discrimination lawsuit. Instead, the employer just starts slowly stripping away his potential earnings and makes the job unsuitable for him so he'd just quit.

Instead he's blaming the Rockets for his downfall and he's suing them because most likely he'll know the Rockets will likely pay him shush money as their public image is a bigger deal for them.
