I am having a problem when I try to burn CDs. I keep getting a 'Track Writer Underburn' error message. I make sure that there are not any other programs/applications running before I attempt to burn anything. I started off using EZ CD Creator but when this problem happened, I decided to download a program called Feurio. It is supposed to be really good about making sure other processes do not cause this problem while burning. However, I'm still getting the same message. I have also tried burning at a slower speed than what is recommended but that has not helped. There have been no changes in software, etc. that I think would cause this error.. I suspect that my little brother's Kazaa Media stuff might cause some problems but I always close it down beforehand. I'm not sure if that prevents people from downploading from his computer or not.. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? I would really appreciate any expertise.. Thanks, Gus
This may be the blind leading the blind but... I sometimes get an error message if I download a file other than an mp3. I was trying to burn a CD and one of the tunes was a wma (windows media application). It kept shutting down when it got to that song. Are all you files mp3's? If all else fails and you still have the application CD, try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. That's worked for me for some other applications error messages. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can help you.
thanks for the response. Most of the discs I try to burn are from WAV files actually.. I do a lot of live music trading and most people are concerned about sound quality (me included) so MP3's are not used too often.. My lil' bro has tried to burn some MP3 only discs though and gotten the same message. Thanks again.
