Well, those who want to see Canaan start might just get their wish. Morey just said specifically on 790 that Lin's back is still an issue and hasn't been responding to treatment. He also said the team is considering sitting him some games in this last stretch in spite of Beverley being out. Your PG depth chart for some of the games going forward may just be Canaan. Canaan. And Canaan.
Lin to rate is not a problem . its the talking point of the lin attackers that repeat this non sense. Lins defense has been above average and superior to beverley yo certain extents. His ability to shut down pgs has been shown on display. Last two games lin was not lettibg collison or williams have their way with lin. To talking points that you say are from lin haters. I would not be surprised to see if you were one
Don't ever want to see a guy get a starting spot due to injury and it may be a while for Canaan is ready for a large load (even though I think Canaan is going to be a good player, especially offensively, in the future).
Well if it's coming from Morey I'll believe it, might be good to sit Lin if his back is still hurting. At this point, all that matters is getting our full squad ready for the playoffs. We can win 2-3 games without Lin Bev Howard and Jones right? =S
Yeah man, he sat a few min in the 4th to get a breather. He played 12 or 13 straight minutes at that point
And if im stupid what does that make you? Seriously, i hypothesized that religion or ethnicity could make lin a target in a secular post relureligious world. This cencept might be too abstract for you to understand but i do forgive your trespasees and ineptitude
Do you believe Morey? Is he benching Lin for other reasons? I consider you the shapest thinker on this board. Would just like your opinion.
Almost all numbers of players coming in from the D-league are much higher than what they produce in the NBA when they begin. Lin's PPG were 18 and change and his 3PT % was 38 or 37 and change if I am not mistaken. The D league is a different animal than the NBA.
So returns the endless cycle of Clutchfans. Houston signs rookie/FA. Rookie/FA goes to D-league and plays well. Posters scream for them to get NBA minutes. Rookie/FA gets play time due injury or sub-par performance of other players. Rookie/FA shows why they were sent down to the D-league. Houston signs new rookie/FA.... For those holding out on Canaan being "ready", I have only 2 words. Scott Machado
What about the PC cycle of the Rockets where the back-up outplays the starter? Brooks replacing Alston Lowry replacing Brooks Dragic replacing Lowry Dragic and Lowry both replaced Beverley replacing Lin When will Bev give way to a back-up?
