Bev gives us a very key ingredient by disturbing the opponent's offensive flow with his tenacious on-ball defense early on the opposing playmaker. Who is the next best defender on this team on the better point guards?

    This poll makes me sad.

I'll go with Canaan by default since I don't know anything about him yet.

I really wanted to put Llull on there.

By the way, you LOFs can feel free to distort this poll all you want. I know what's up with that. I'm considering this poll without Lin.

Canaan. He did a good job staying in front of dwill when he was on him. Lin gets lost on basic crossovers.

    Parsons!! Period!!
Which is why we lost to Brooklyn last night. If Bev and Howard was there he could have locked Joe Johnson down. Instead he had to slow down Deron Williams. And Livingston 175 pound post game against harden would've not been there. T-jones could handle Pierce, who was playing the four. Howard would have just had his way with their big men.
Anyways it took away a lot of our versatility, because Parson is our second best on the ball perimeter defender.

Should have Parsons on the poll because, while nobody other than Bev appears to give a ****, Parsons has been starting on the other team's PGs.

Livingston was beating Lin most of the time.

What is the reason we have never really given Covington a shot this year? I feel like we could have just tried to put Covington in instead of going for Hamilton. Is Hamilton really that much better than Covington? I know that Covington is a rookie, but hamilton really doesn't have too much more experience.

Geez... what team have you guys been watching over the past two years? Maybe Lin is the 2nd best PG defender and I'm just blind, but I voted Canaan because even in two games he's shown me that he at least has the lateral movement to keep PG's in front of him that Lin doesn't have.

Sure Lin gets steals every once in a blue moon, but that's one of the worst indicators of a player being a good defender you can find. IMO PG defense all starts with being able to slow the other PG down by staying in front of him, and not letting him coast in the paint to break down the defense.

There is merit to saying if the Rockets go against a team with a superstar PG (which is pretty much every night in the West) they should put a SF on him, but you still have to find someone to hide two minus defenders on so in the long run, I voted for another PG.

If Llull was on here, I'd vote him even without playing a minute in the NBA. That guy is a straight up pest on defense, and I love it. He doesn't really look like a basketball player at all, but the guy is just a great competitor. Love him or hate him, he brings the energy every night. Here's to Morey pulling some magic out of his sleeve and finding a way to convince that guy to come over this Summer (of course after all other Summer moves are made).

It's either Lin or Canaan right? I'd go with Lin in that case.

Lol, I hope you realize how funny this is? Basically saying, I'm putting out a poll, but I'm going to ignore the results, because clearly LOFs.

Why bother putting up the poll to begin with? Or do you think 1/2 of clutchfans are LOFs?

Judging by the poll, those Covington only fans are the next scourge of the board! We need to start a witch hunt immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
