Obviously Lebron. Lebron usually guards opponent's PGs.

I just can't buy into McHale as a good coach.

Though to be fair, I don't know what goes on inside that huddle, we've all heard the rumors of perhaps some guys (Harden) not always running the offense as called.

Keep in mind we have some key pieces out right now, but lets say those pieces were out all season. I think a upper level coach would take this current team to a decent record.

With KM, I think the team would .500
    Possibly below.

The defense was fine when Lin was guarding DWill. Only a problem when McHale did this weird guard defense with Parson. Parson's cannot defend agile PGs.

Lin's breakout game in NY, he shut down D-Will

But you know... he can't play defense and he jumps in the air so Canaan should start

I second this, horrible decision to put Harden on Johnson.

And the fact that our front court after Asik was horrible. No worries, still 3 up in the loss column.

either mchale and sampson outsmarted themselves and back fired, or there's more to this then we know.

rumor has it that lin left practice early yesterday due to his sore back. maybe they really are hiding him on D because they know where he's at physically.

but if lin was 100%, that was an unnecessary adjustment.

Call me a LOF but I'm gonna go ahead and say with Bev out, they don't want to allow jeremy the opportunity to showcase his D. IMO aside from arguably Bev he's our best perimeter defender and this season has consistently shut down the man he's guarding. Heck even nowitski had more trouble scoring on lin than DMO and TJones and the dudes 7 feet tall! I know mchale dislikes lin and that's all fine and dandy, people have a right to their opinions. But I'm not a rockets fan to watch them throw away winnable games just so the coach can make a point... #mightilypissed

No. stop with the conspiracies. No one is against lin and trying to make bev look better. Mchale and his staff are just bad.

Totally agreed. McHale doesn't have anything against Lin personally. He is just an incompetent coach and with the spotlight on Lin, we notice all the stupid moves he makes involving Lin. In actually fact, McHale is incompetent all round but we don't notice all the other stuff as much.

    ^^^ Freaking this

Ever since that POS CultureMap article came out, people have been looking to dish Lin's reason for his inability to play basketball on to anyone BUT Jeremy Lin. Unreal.

Even if that was your intent who the hell cares. You didn't put enough substance into your OP. Read the replies in here. Is what you now claim that you were implying what they are arguing? Whatever the intention was behind your op, it just served as a conduit to the same old bull****.

You could have just posted this opinion in the game thread or in one of the threads criticizing McHale's coaching if you didn't want to formulate your OP enough to differentiate it from those topics.

Not to be an ass to you, but it's annoying reading these lame opinions.
