How anybody can argue that a rotation of Bev/Lin would not have been better than Lin/Canaan or having T. Jones in the mix when DMo picked up those 4 fouls in rapid succession is waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond me.

That's just a plain lie. Jones and Beverley points alone make a difference and keeps certain players on the bench longer.

No Dwight Howard, Patrick Beverley and Terrence Jones. Those players are sort of important.

Not shocked by the loss because the Rockets were missing 60% of their starting line up. No one was really good offensively other than Harden, and defensively he was garbage. Johnson didn't score all his points on Harden, but Harden was consistently drifting towards the paint allowing open 3's. Last year the Rockets sagged inside on purpose, this year the strategy changed, the guards were to not say inside... Apparently Harden didn't get the memo. It will take Harden getting humiliated again to have him stop sagging and attempt in transition.

Overall not concerned about the loss, the defense wasn't good but didn't expect it without Beverley and Howard. Move on and win the gimmie games.

Yes and the Nets are not exactly the Bucks... They are now 21-2 in their last 23 home games.

No effort either. That's sort of important too.

Those guys are very important. They are part of this team's core along with Harden and Parsons. Harden is the offense of this team, Parson is the swiss army knife, Beverly is the heart and soul, Howard is the anchor in the middle and Jones is the X-factor.

The Rockets missing 3 of their starters tonight is just tough. Dwight Howard is always important to this team. But Jones and Beverly brings so much also. In order for the Rockets to be a threat in the playoffs, they need their starters to be healthy and ready to go.

Without PBev, Lin is forced to start but then who leads our bench? Our bench sucks without any scoring threat.
This is how important PBev to this team.

Nets missing Garnett so it's not all that great of an excuse.

Seemed to me the players were never that into the game from the get go. They looked very uninterested and lackadaisical. Very little intensity. They were going through the motions and playing very poor team basketball in the first half.

Then they tried to pick it up in the 4th qtr but Brooklyn smelt blood and is too good of a team to cave. Rockets really looked out of sync on the offensive end.

It's clear we have relied on Dwight to create space and we now struggle without him on the floor.

Holy cow. We took a bunch of hard shots tonight and as expected, ended up missing a lot of them.

We seriously need some plays to happen in the game. I saw a lot of 1-on-1 bball tonight with little movement. The only play I saw happen was the typical high PnR and that didn't do much for us at all.

Good post, what I said. A big part is that the team also had no energy or defensive identity. Even Harden was shaking his head when he air balled that 3. Team came out flat.

Bench is horrendous. Garcia should be getting more min over Casspi. I was high on Hamiliton before, but now it looks like he's just a chucker...o well.
