    He is inconsistent, and I don't think McHale thinks much of him, but I thought he played pretty well tonight.

    He also gets way to much blame, every time the team loses. Not sure if it's the backup pg's position to carry the team, in times of need. That's for the all-stars...one of which is injured right now.

    Maybe Dwight is far more crucial than even I thought.

    I don't get this place. So many ppl here think Lins trash but when some starters are out its on Lin to step up? If people don't think highly of him why are they so upset when he doesn't "step up"?

    Yeah but this is a separate thread where no one has yet to put the loss solely on him.. Go put your posts in one of those threads.

    This thread has to do with how people blamed McHale for Lin's struggles all season and why he has failed to live up to expectations. Well maybe, just maybe.. McHale knew what he was doing by starting Bev all year and wasn't hating on Lin, but simply playing the best player. Lin looks lost playing with Harden.. Frankly he just looks completely lost period.

    Point is why do they expect him to step up if he sucks? Why not D-mo or Hamilton or Casspi?
