Calm down. Nobody said jump passing is a "sin". You don't see other players in the league do it and turn the ball over every night on a constant basis. I care about my Rockets. When a guy on my favorite team continues to jump up with NO COURT AWARENESS and throws the ball away at least once a night is going to irritate me as well as any other REAL Rockets fan. Stop trying so hard to sound smart with your ridiculously long post full of baseless opinions. You also have no real knowledge of the game without reading someone else's opinion. How about you form your own for once? Tough guy.

Anyways. I am extremely happy Beverley will be back. Hearing this news was a great way to make a Monday a positive.

For real! This has been a great day. Beverley is a fan favorite as far as I am concerned. He is like the chuckwagon but at the PG position.

I don’t know what makes you so stupid, but it's really working.

LOL come one man. Lin has played through injuries this year as well. I don't see anyone talking about how Lin can't come back from an injury. He has come back well from injury. Now to compare his level of play to an injury is not right. He is healthy right now, as far as we know, and he isn't playing well. He has had issues of not playing well all year with his TO's, bad decision making, bad shooting, etc. But to say Lin is weak due to a injury is just stupid.

This guy is a grade A troll. One minute he is a LOF and the next he becomes a LOH.

Thank you, MrPosterior, for making a positive post about the team that doesn't pit one player against another or belittle any players in general.

I honestly haven't read enough of your posts to be able to say that they are carefully thought out and articulate. I have, however, read you incessantly b****ing in every thread that is somewhat lin related as of late.

Furthermore, there are hordes of Lin fans that are offensive. There are good Lin fans such as torocan and this other guy whose name I can't remember but he had like 5k posts in 5 months two years ago.

Anyway. You actually had some points. But you lost me at tinman being a quality poster. Thanks for the laugh. That guy is culprit #2 in trolling the Lin fan base after Dei. And #1 in constantly trying to divide the fan base.

Btw congrats on the job. I'm not sure how that's relevant in any way.

I don't understand this as well. There are many posters here who are highly educated and successful. It screams insecurity when they mention it on an online sports forum as some basis of self worth. It's so tacky trying to brag about your job on a basketball forum. I want to laugh, but it's actually pretty sad.

Anyway this thread is stupidly derailed. We should all be celebrating Beverley not having to get surgery. Long live the wolverine.

Every injury is different. Everyone has different recovery time. Not to mention for this injury pat bev said the tear is not the usual location. Also there is no swelling - means the body isn't really reacting as it should to the injury. Which leads to different time tables. People just need to stop comparing to things they know nothing about. U will end up drawing incorrect conclusions.

    1. I can't speak for all Lin fans, but the anti Lin fans are downright mental
    2. I haven't read all of tinman's posts but I find him significantly less annoying than Larvs8 (or some of his followers) or cheny19
    3. Bragging about my job was kind of a joke, I never do it until I decided to stoop down to their level for one time only, but how do you know many posters on CF are highly successful and educated? It's not out of the question to associate the quality of posts to how successful they are in life. After all, I think it's reasonable to assume successful/educated people communicate with logic, common sense, and occasionally tasteful humour

If you really had an I-banking job you wouldn't have time to post here, let alone read this forum.

Lol. That's what I was thinking. The LOF, LOH thing. I'm not on here enough to know who's a complete troll though.

I argued against the fact you're trying to point out Lin is better against said PG's. Not true in any case whatsoever.

Cute response though. When in doubt, they always stray.

    Wow
Never thought Torocan was a LOF, just young. He usually has smart posts from what I've seen.

Lin jumps with desperation 2+ times per game. Not all of these desperate passes end in TOs... some work out, some still disrupt the offense because the pass isn't crisp giving the defense an easier chance to recover. No need for blind rebuttals against evidence that's right in your face. Game play clearly shows Lin being out of control with many of his jumps. Players who effectively use jump passes draw the defense then pass for an open shot... they don't spinning around in the air desperately looking for a teammate. Sometimes they'll look for own shot, but they're usually in control... unless some bs charging foul is called.

Jeremy is still an asset to this team (and we need him), he just needs to play better/smarter.

btw- Dwight isn't immune either. He doesn't jump with desperation, but he has unnecessarily out of control turnovers because his offensive game isn't good enough. Harden makes boneheaded passes (and needs to cut down), but his offensive game is so good overall can't knock him too hard.
