Why was Robertson pulled after 5.2 innings and a 4 hit game working? 82 pitches, 0 walks....I can't see the game, did I miss something or is Jimy still an idiot?

JRob had 2 outs and Pujols doubled. Jimi freaked out and yanked him in favor of Stone.

    Captain Hook.

So you're saying Jimy is still an idiot? Why oh why can't the Stors have a simple, decent, normal manager? Dierker left his starters in too long, so now they hire someone who hooks them too soon.

What I wouldn't give for a Jim Tracy or a Ron Gardenhire or a Bob Brenly right now.

Agreed. Does not make a lot of sense.

Deirker and Jimi truly are exact opposites.

Would love to have Art Howe back. Doesn't look like he will last long in NY. How convenient it would be if NY fired Art and we fired Jimi at the same time.

Hidalgo for $5 in my roto league was a steal. Not as much of a steal as Marcus Giles and Corey Patterson for $1 each, but still, glad to see the power is back.

    Kent
    Berkman
    Hidalgo

    such a nice 3-4-5-6

It was great to see Everett get the HR. I am really rooting for him....esp since that trade has yet to seem less than one sided.

Funny how last season everyone was confident (or at least hopeful) that Everett and Ensberg would be the future left side of the infield. That ended fast and Blum surprised while Lugo was above average. This season it is as if no one expects anything out of Ensberg and Everett, but situations arise such that each has a shot to do something with his opportunities...and they shine. I guess they just needed a bit of the pressure off.

Yep, and I think Ensberg is ready for more time. If Everett starts struggling, why not have Blum at SS and Ensberg at 3b? That would really make our hitting stronger. Blum has played over 90 games at SS.

Blum can't play SS on a regular basis, he'd kill the defense. AE is the man, with Kent & Biggio playing average to below average defense up the middle, the Stros need a good glove at short.
