I think JVG said it when asked what he thought of Jeremy Lin after Linsanity. He said he'll be a lower tier starting PG or a capable backup.

A couple of years post Linsanity I would say capable backup. I look for Morey to try to move him this off-season.

Seriously, does anybody know why Jeremy likes to drive to the hoop, jump into the air, and then decide what to do with the ball? It's absolutely maddening.

Good luck. His current trajectory means he only has value as an expiring - which really aren't worth as much due to teams being wiser under the new CBA

His fan base is quite a bit larger than PBs. He almost HAS to do post game interviews whether he wants to or not.

Yep, that's fundamental basketball 101. DONT JUMP IN THE AIR IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR GONNA DO. Not quite sure why he hasn't correct this, but that's another story

He will never be a superstar, never be a allstar. Might not never start again either. He had a fluke stretch in New York and gotta contract based off him being Asian. Now that the league has scouted him he's useless. He's pretty much a 3rd string caliber guard anywhere he goes

With Lin his whole career will be about his mental status. He clearly needs a push outside of his mental state and the way he has been playing all season, he hasn't gotten it from anywhere. Whatever he did this season was mostly crap. It's like he gave up a long time ago.

Its frustrating for all of us knowing he's a smart kid, but seems like his IQ is overdoing valuations on how he should play bball. Jeremy just play, stop overthinking...

It really is a damn shame how folks can direct such venomous comments to one of our players. He didn't quit us on. He's going out there, playing hard, and wearing the Rocket Red with pride. It really is awful to read.

He wasn't the only one to disappoint with his play. Even if Bev played, the result would have been the same. We are snake-bit against the Clippers.

Lin is robbing the Rockets blind. What sucks the most is once Lin gets exposed again in the playoffs, his trade value with plummet. Morey screwed up horribly by not moving him before the trade deadline.

Where did u get the info Lin robbed the rockets? Last time i checked, it was morey who offered the poison pill contract to him. He didnt demand this or that.

But Howard was injured and Manziel might fall out of the first round?

This should be in everyone's signature. You couldn't have summed up Lin any better.

I don't know many players in this league that go from "superstar" to "scrub" based on whether he has his own team or not.

I'm sure if a team was put together designed specifically for Lin, and he was the 1st option, Lin would have success. Then again, that applies to most NBA players out there.

Total BS. He might never be an Allstar but he's proved he's a capable starting point guard, and a very good point guard in the right system. Whether the rockets system is a fit for him is very debatable. But to say he's a scrub is stupid. He was a starting point guard for a playoff team last year. He would be the starting point guard for the lakers, Knicks, Bucks, bobcats and magic easily. To say he's a third string scrub is just stupid and deliberately inflammatory. He is overpaid next year but he's only been getting paid $5m last year and this year.

Wow I think I agree. That explains why there are so many elite players in the East. Actually, most of those teams on the East and even the scrub teams in the West seem to have a 1st option elite player. All they needed was that opportunity to be the 1st option. Who would've thought...

He has obvious reason to be upset since he didn't show up AT ALL. The upside to it is at least he's owning up to it.

ya, agree with above, the jumping in the air with nothing to do is dumb, he didn't even do this in NY, all his turnovers then were from making super aggressive plays, he's probably just worried about getting pulled by coach but thats something he has to adjust to, no excuses. He'll come up big in the playoffs as the starting pg, i do believe that
