No, Houston gives credit where its due, players like Parsons, Beverley, Harden Jj Watt, Foster have proven to us what they are, so when they have a bad game it'll be swept under the rug, cause Houston knows. When you gives us **** 80% of the time u shall be attacked. Houston wants to win, n we're tired of short-comings
Hell yes. THATS WHY LIN SHOULDVE BEEN TRADED AT THE DEADLINE. What the hell is rockets management MOREY doing! He should bow down and listen to the wisdom of Clutchfans!
He probably tried, but nobody wants to pay his scrub ass 15 mill next year. So we're stuck with his ass
No offense, but Lin is such a stereotype. All the textbook knowledge, but no real world application. It's either low testosterone or too unsure of himself. There's a reason Yi Jianlin went #7 and Lin went undrafted. Skillset and mentality just don't cut it and here we have all these teenage fanboys glorifying what they can't understand. Hopin for our cajonays ie Beverly, Canaan, to be ready for the 1st round. Lord have mercy.
You may be right, but not after just one game!! It may be beneficial to keep Lin running the 2nd group, but hopefully Bev is back in time for the playoffs and nothing in this thread will matter... I'd like to see Canaan get some minutes regardless though.
One game, come on bro. It's 80% of his time with the Rockets. People wouldn't be so frustrated with him, if it's only about one game
Amen brotha' To actually answer OMR's OP: I think it would be good because the starting PG just needs to be able to hustle and shoot 3s. No homerun plays are necessary. Then again it is a complete gamble and has a 0% chance of happening. McHale won't do it even if Lin averages 12 TOs per game from now on.
Really dude? Someone who 'shouldn't be in the NBA' would not ever come close to the #'s Lin put up during Linsanity in New York, and some moments with the Rockets. He's a bad fit for the Rockets because of Harden. If Morey knew he would get Harden, he would have never signed Lin. Lin can be a starting point guard on other teams. I'm far from a LOF, but after watching the Linsanity movie - I've gained a lot of respect for Lin and his journey was pretty amazing. Back on topic - this is a huge knee jerk thread from a '99er' -
If he's a bad fit because of Harden then the only teams hes going to be a good fit on are ones that are either lottery bound or first round fodder. Assuming what you are insinuating is that Lin needs to be the sole ball dominant guard on a team for it to be a "good fit".
I knew this is coming, it happened every time Lin had a bad game and every time Lin had a good game you LOH would just ran away...........
It's just too late in the season to try to make Canaan a starter. So yes this really is a classic knee jerk reaction to a very bad game on the part of Lin. Canaan might very well be a future solution but needs time to develop. Heck Lin needs time to develop but he is somewhat further along.
