Lin had a poor outing but he wasn't the sole reason why we lost. I like what I'm seeing from Canaan but he should delegate his role to only shooting 3's. Why Casspi was ahead of Hamilton in the rotation, I have no idea. His length and athleticism may have been a better match-up, especially against the much-maligned Clippers.

Your post sounds as though the Rockets was able beat the Clippers with DH and PB. Please point out the last time the Rockets beat the Clippers.

The meltdown in the garm after Bev's injury and the realization that Lin would be starting is very entertaining too.

Deandre Jordan had 6 blocks, it's not easy to make a layup with him standing over you everytime.

Stop posting all of these gifs of black guys. No matter how hard you try, your not gangsta material. Accept your inner Asian sensibilities.

I can literally feel the desperation in these posts, somehow trying to spin a 1/9, 2 assists, 3 turnover game into being alright. Just stop.

Lin could punt a baby into the other team's basket and you guys would find someway to spin it.

Given the 3pt or layup philosophy of the team, if the 3pt are not falling and there is a good blocker at the post, the team ususally loses. i am actaully surprise we only lost for 11 pts.

I wonder if Morey has stats on how to play teams differently and mix in mid range shots instead of always going with 3 pts and layups.

I agree with you and I very much like the Rocket style game. Still, one of the other Rocket characteristics is shooting 3 pointers. Only Harden knows how to drive to the basket and get calls efectively. The others should make kicking the ball out a real alternative when they run into a wall driving. I don't blame the players for TOs after passes that were worth trying.

Actually I think that McHale could try to play Harden as the playmaker having Garcia as the SG. Only Harden and Lin (now that Beverley is out and missing Brooks) can drive to the basket with some reliability. Without Dwight in the paint, kicking out should be a real alternative.

By the way, the Clippers were not shooting well at all. 47 FG%, 29 3PT% and 61% from the line. They are a very fast team too and shoot volumes.

He definitely can play better, but having 10 pts is similar to going 5 for 10. Which is not that bad. Please point out how many wins the team had against the Clippers with DH and PB starting this year.

LOL, what hate? Just because I don't have homer glasses on 24/7 and see Harden as a super star with some areas he needs to work on makes me a hater?

You make is sound as though the team had beaten LAC all year until tonight.

    Lin: really? 10pt 2rb 2as 3to= Collison 11pt 5rb 5as 4st 0to?
Top shelf shot blocking=13th in the league.
Unstoppable Chris Paul=18.7 points per game.

The primary issue for this team against the Clippers and Thunder is Harden's previous inability to score against them. In the last 2 games, he's averaging 30 points per game.

Unfortunately, our lack of depth and inexperience means we need our whole team to be successful. The team we sent out tonight would get steamrolled in the 1st round.

Basic math aside, 10 points is not the same as going 5-10.
If a player had 20 points on 5-22 that would not equate to shooting a quality .500

By no mean am I attributing the lost to Harden. However, everyone sounded like Lin's 3 TO were the reason the team lost tonight. I just wanted a more fair analysis from people rather than attributing everything to Lin. By his standard, he probably should have scored around 15 pts tonight but it still would not have been enough to win the game.

Folks are overly critical of Lin for all sorts of reasons, but the bottom line is Lin has regressed throughout his career so far, instead of improved.

Not to mention the Clips played without BG, Redick, Granger and Big Baby. Just excuses.

You are jumping to conclusions. I never said the lost was on Harden. I am just pointing out that there are other superstar out there and can play both offense and defense and while JH is excellent on offense, his defense needs to improve unless the team is happy with 2nd round exits.

Where did I say Harden was defending CP3? It was Parson on him all night. If you look at the box score, the starters basically evened out. (82 vs 83 pts) The beach was another story.

10 pts is 10 pts if you get it via free throw or you hit jumpers. What's the difference? Didn't Harden scored over 30 pts one game mostly from the FT line?

I would say going from almost getting cut to becoming a starter a pretty good improvement no?
