First possession after the break, Lin dribbled, dribbled and down to 11 second and just pass to TJ at the top,

sad.

 

Turnovers and Fouls are killing the rockets right now.

Harden with 4 TOs in 20 minutes
Canaan with 3 TOs in 6 minutes
Lin with 2 TOs in 16 minutes
Asik, Parsons, and Garcia each with 1

D-Mo and Jones each with 3 fouls. Not smart basketball play.

Sigh. So much talk so little understanding.

What actually is happening on the court tonight? Are we seeing a fundamental flaw in the Rockets team, or we just witnessing the third best player in the NBA go off of everyone? D-Mo, Lin, Harden, Parsons. There is a huge difference between the two.

As a fan you have to understand that any of the top ten players in the NBA can just explode. A team just has to weather that explosion and everything will be good again. Not a big deal. And honestly, if the Rockets lose tonight, is there any lasting damage?

 

We might as well make a Lin observation thread every for each game thread, so all the lin posts about his every move can be dumped there

 

when the team is choking, paul steps up and run the best plays possible. Actually coaches have to tell what they will do but if you have paul, you may lay back. Our guards are just too inexperienced to play it out on this level. McHale gotta come up with something in times like this.

 

Finally...thats what you need to do Lin!!

Who do we blame?

 

Not too worried. Horrible 2nd qtr, all our bad habits were in display in that qtr and we are definately better than what we showed there. We gave that qtr to Clippers rather than Clippers take it from us. Good that we are only 3 points behind.

Things that will hopefully turnaround after the break
-Turn overs. This was a real momentum killer in that qtr, and most of the turnovers silly and unforced.
-Lin to block out those 2 blocks against him. His confidence went to shat after those 2 blocks and became the hesitant Lin again. This has always been my gripe with him, his mental state. Really hope for his career sake he can get over this demon.
-We need someone to guard CP3. Chandler is not doing it for me. We need Hamilton or even Lin to take that spot.
-Too much selfish ball...and I'm not talking about Harden. ISO and one pass offense was too common in the latter part of that qtr because were too much in panic mode. Get back to our strengths such as passing the rock around and getting team mates involved
