Yup... That's how to do it. Down Lin with your obnoxious tirades then then a little later, hoping he's doing better because you don't know any better. Typical day for a fair-weather fan...

Yea he looks like he could play. He looked good shooting in warm up before the game. But that's just shooting playing is a whole different story. If I'm a betting man I say he returns this season for the playoffs

If he can be the energizer bunny again within 3 weeks thats awesome.

We need that defense for the finals!

Hope he is stronger than Westbrook when he comes back and not timid.
Hope he doesnt get a permanent career ending injury in the playoffs

Admittedly I did not read every page of this thread, but I read a whole lot of it hoping for Beverley updates. And not once did I see anyone say that we are better off without Beverley.

Bev is the X factor! We need him back ASAP! I'm sure he'll be back sooner rather than later and well rested for the playoffs!

I hope Bev can play but not at the expense of his future playing days.

That being said, I would still like Morey to look at some other options as a back up even if Beverly is good to go. I won't be surprised if some of the dirtier player in the league try to attack Bev's knee in the playoffs. Especially if it's a win or go home situation.

The hope is that is a very minor tear and repairs itself in quick order. Some people tear their meniscus and feel relatively fine a few days later... Of course playing basketball, especially the way Beverley does is a new ball game.

The early outlook is positive and we are fairly locked into out playoff positioning. I still think it is 4 weeks or longer and not 10 days.

Didn't Beverley comeback from an injury earlier this year way ahead of time and play poorly? Something to keep in mind.

It is still amazing how important Beverley has become to the Rockets in a short period of time... 15 months ago he was playing in Russia.

Good god we need him back bad. Rockets lack intensity and are turning it over at an insane rate without him. Please come back Bev.

I may have been expecting way too much from Lin seeing this Clippers game. He was a complete dud throughout the game. And this is nowhere near the adversity he will face playoff time.

Its time Canaan starts the remaining games to get into the flow and if Bev is not back by playoff time, Canaan can start and Lin take his rightful position as a bench player.

Canaan plays within the offense, has some hustle. Knocks down shots.

That's what Matt said after the game yesterday.

I think that was Matt, not sure.

Anyway, he said that he'll ask the approval of his doctor.

If he'll let him play, then get the surgery in the off season.

If Bev is allowed to play, I would save him for the postseason. Let him rest up.

I would also think of resting Harden and Parsons on alternate game days. No need to risk any injuries. Maybe Lin can get some rhythm back when he's on his own.

I would rest Dwight some more but play him for the games vs. contenders.

The rest need to get their acts together. No rest for them

A tear in the meniscus does not heal very often since it receives only little blood flow. If Patrick plays he's gonna have major stability issues while on the court.

depends on where its torn and the extent of the tear. He said it was in a minor area where players don't normally get it (don't know exactly since he didn't specify) . I minor tear won't do too much tbh.

Someone needs to sit Patrick Beverley down and tell him what a torn meniscus means. He has to sit down and heal.

I rather see Pat Bev have a long and prosperous career than to see him coming back early and be one of the sad cuts we'd have to make in 2 years.

    Sit Bev, please.
