the playoffs are a completely different animal. Any change of momentum can change the series.

If my memory serve me right, tinman is always harsh on Lin. Is it weird he make such thread, to stir thing up I suppose?

What the hell are you? Chairman of the Iron Chef?

If Lin has a bad game, I won't say he had a good game.

I'm a realist, something Lin fans or McGrady fans don't understand.

I'm not going to think a player is great because he has lots of talent or he's great cause of a winning streak he did in the past or his race.

    It's about his production.

I'm also like 1 or 2 people on clutchfans to see the Lin movie with Lin at the premiere.

you need to understand, glory is earned. do I want Lin to do well? yes. he's on my favorite basketball team.

So Lin has to be a hero to be considered to be recognized as a damn good player.

    Yeah but is PB Asian?
Did PB end up in the national media being talked about by everyone from Obama to Kobe Bryant to Yao Ming and more?
Does PB have a fanbase of a billion?
Does anyone but Lin have such high expectations from someone not even deemed worthy of draft?
So Lins expectation is soo high and the fanbase so rabid for Linsanity that anything else is deemed failure.
I think its better Lin is under the radar, dont need him to overexert himself and get injured a 3rd year for the playoffs.

I don't know if he will be a hero in the playoffs or not, but he will need to be a hero for us to make noise.

To set expectations ridiculously high. Then, with anything less than multiple walk off series winners, the stage for war has already been set.

I voted yes. Perhaps wishful thinking, but everyone usually steps it up in the playoffs. His contribution is more important than ever now.

11 games to get used to starting again, then the playoffs.

He is what he is, great at times and garbage at times. All you can hope for is that he stays healthy and play the best he can and help the team win.

Nothing happens without reason. Prehaps it's Jeremy's time to shine again.

God speed for Bev and his recovery. If it is medically possible for his return this season without hurting his future, than come back soon. If not, then rest and recover for next season.

What's the most points Lin has scored in a playoff game? Has Lin had one good overall playoff game in his career so far? The only positive thing I can say regarding Lin is that the only thing that will stop Lin would be Jeremy Lin... his confidence. He plays so intimidated in the playoffs to the point I hate seeing him on the floor attempting to dribble under heavy defensive pressure.

1.5 play off games before injury, then tried to play through it but ultimately couldn't and was sidelined. Far too small a sample to judge *ANY* player, especially since the entire team sucked in that first game.

But keep sticking with that narrative. Let's see what Lin actually does for an entire series when he's relatively healthy.

Oh wait, much easier to just keep bashing him than to wait and see. Never mind... continue to talk amongst yourselves.

It's really too bad that you have to take every chance you can to run down Tmac.

Hey I know you want to see Lin play good. I want to see Lin play good and I'm pretty sure Lin wants Lin to play good... the bottom line is when the pressure of the nba playoffs is upon him he has to rise to the occasion and play good and smart. He has his chance but regardless of excuses either he will or he won't everything else is BS.
