Not sure, but if my choices are Steve Young, Joe Montana, and Big Ben, I certainly am not picking Big Ben.
He said he would gamble on JFF and I outlined the risk of gamble Nothing close minded about that, its the truth lol
Okay, but you fail to see that taking the gamble on ANY first round QB in this draft is the exact same risk.
I was thinking of starting a thread asking "If you were a hot dog, would you eat yourself", but then this hypothetical thread popped up.
What quarterbacks did Gruden and Billick develop..??? Those two are better coordinators of the offense than they are quarterback evaluators in my opinion. And Jawz is just plain nuts. A part of me would draft Johnny just because... Lol.. But I would have a hard time passing on Blake... Except in Texas just about everyone says he's the one with the most upside and that will possibly end up the best quarterback out this draft. But if the Texans can trade back with Buffalo and get more picks including their 1st round pick in next year's draft... I'd rather them make that move and go after a quarterback next year. They'd be in great position to move up in the draft next year if they need to...
Rich Gannon went from journeyman to pro-bowler under Gruden. Brad Johnson went from a QBrating of 77 to 93 and a Superbowl win in his first year with Gruden.
Yes... But I said developed not tweaked. Those guys were veterans and Brad Johnson only threw 450 passes that year and only had around 100 more passing yards than Vick.
