Is it wrong to hope that the Rockets will lose vs the Clips?

More than any other team in the NBA, I want to be the Clippers. I don't like them. They seem to have our number and I hate Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan. Beat their asses! Revenge will be ours!

 

Let's lock up the #4 seed, then we'll think about resting our starting line up, before cranking it back up for the last 2-3 games of the regular season to get back into a rhythm.

I really think we need to rest Parsons. It's dangerous how much we're playing him, you can see the fatigue in his game these days and that's when people become more vulnerable to injuries.

I get what OP wants. Its kinda like saying I want the standings to stay the same to see our Rockets have the best chance to make it to the WCF. Let us face it, we haven't had any luck with the Clippers nor the Thunder in the regular season and you guys think we can figure out how to beat them none the less in the playoffs? Please, running teams that play no defense don't have good track records in the playoffs but at least this way they get the most experience they can. Im not for tanking a game but I also don't see the Clippers nor the Thunder falling in standings so I don't consider it a problem. Unfortunately, if the standings did change then I don't see us getting past the Thunder or Clippers in the second round and it isn't because of players or stars we need to add to our roster but more that our perimeter defense isn't there and I don't see Harden or Parson picking up ENOUGH, #truthtalk

 

Post this on the Rocket's Wall. Seriously, the team needs figure out how to beat these teams, like both have done to the team. Not just barely but by double digits. I expect the Rockets to get some payback and beat the Clippers like they have done to the Rockets so far this season.

 

The clippers are our Seattle Supersonics who the Rockets couldn't get past because they dominated at every spot except center (Dream). Blake Griffin dominates Tjones and Dmo only slows him down. Then Chris Paul takes over at the point and Dwight battles to a stalemate with Djordan. Must must must have a big game from the Beard and Bang!

The bench also must play well, something from Hamilton and Jlin.

with this team anything can happen. we could be an elite team one game and then lose to a scrub team the next. or we might end up going on a mini losing streak.....every W counts.

The Spurs are the very worst team to have to face in the second round.

 

I see where you are going, but the short answer os yes, it is wrong for you to wish that. We can't be afraid of the Clips, OKC in the second round. We have to figure out a way to beat them in the near future if we will ever get back to that big party on Richmond.
