Regardless of what happens on Saturday, Clippers aren't getting out of the 2nd round.

Any one here like to know if we can beat the Clippers even once before meeting them again in the postseason?

Not gonna meet them again, they won't get past either OKC or Spurs.

After getting eliminated by them, it will be too late to care. Take a good look of what Spurs did in resting their stars for the playoff. Easy to talk!

It's time to avoid facing Spurs. Harden will be in great trouble guarded by Leonard. Gino and Mills are ready to attack and make a big impact. Let GSW and Memphis handle Clippers and OKC instead.

I think its cute that you think the Spurs can guard Harden, it's like you've never watched the nba

Harden's so-so last time he played the Spurs in the playoffs (still with OKC at that time)... It's time to kill that ghost of a past...

No it's not wrong to lose so we can squiggle a couple of more wins. Okc and clips have our number. We can't out coach them. We need to get 4th seed and avoid them as long as we can.

Seeding, rest and 2nd unit chemistry are the most important things at this point in the season.

The best coaches have already sorted out which games they're going to mail in.

This thread reminds me of the macho fans who said the rockets would neat the thunder last year. They were the ones who b****ed and moaned the most every time we got our asses handed to us.

Yes, it is wrong. We may play this mob in the playoffs, and it is better to go into a series 3-1 rather than 4-0 in the season series.

Didn't work out too well for Dallas in 07. You play to win every games, especially potential playoff opponent.

    So-So??

He murdered the Spurs that series. Ask any spurs (or OKC) fan and they'll tell you he was the catalyst for the turnaround in that series. His pick and roll was unstoppable for 4 straight games

our schedule going forward is pretty difficult, beating clips by no means assures us the #3 seed

the important thing is to lock up home court as early as possible so we can rest our players

He averaged 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 32 minutes at 64%TS... He dominated them.

I understand where you're coming from, OP. For that reason, I wouldn't be terribly upset if we lose. But I cannot help but want the Rockets to win when I'm watching.

If it was a lock that we would play golden state or Portland I would say yes but Memphis is only a game and half from the 5th and they worry me. So I would say just try to win as many as possible and let it all play out and just see what happens

The is always to win, and this Rockets team will never lose on purpose. Their confidence is high sky right now, and they are sure that they can beat any team in the NBA. Thats the attitude you need to compete in this dog eat dog conference. Winning heals all, and it always strengths every aspect of a TEAM. GO ROCKETS.
