Biden / Warren would be a great pairing.

Remembering when one of the prospects' dads was in the driver's seat for both POTUS and then SCOTUS, before losing a year later, certainly makes me feel old.

Warren hands down but how interesting would a Clinton/Warren ticket look?

Warren's a bad idea; all in all Kerry might have killed the appeal of Massachusetts liberals. Even so she'd give back NC, FL and VA, probably even in the primaries. Hillary's not running, need to start looking at younger female senators and governors.

Would love Warren, but she won't be running... yet.

I didn't realize she was 64 yo -- it's unfortunately a now or never situation for her I think.

You could elect Jesus and it wouldn't matter with a republican house

Sanders would be great for most Americans IMO, but he's certainly not going to be allowed to win in this system. He would have no chance against the money other candidates will be putting up to promote themselves and make others look bad.

Reading this thread and the sister thread, I'm decidedly unenthused about the coming presidential election.

For the Dem nomination, it will be the Hillary coronation. If Republicans nominate a Freak Show candidate, the general election will be long victory lap for her highness.

To have a good chance in 2016, Republicans need a scandal to damage her.

    Yes, yes he did.

But you see, he was a secret Kenyan, muslim commie usurper hell bent on the destruction of America.

    He had an agenda. ;)
