LeBron practices dunks all the time. He holds his own min-dunk contest after practice and in pre-game warmups if you ever go to a live game. He stopped after people kept pressuring him to be in the dunk contest. It's not just the tomahawk either and don't tell me some of these dunks couldn't contend in the contest.

Nobody does fancy dunks in a live game, because no matter who you are if you mess it up, you'll look like an idiot. There's nothing to gain and everything to lose, especially if those 2 points cost your team the game.

Most stars don't enter the dunk contest, because all-star weekend is the time to rest. It's mid-season, people have nagging injuries, plus they're most likely playing in the all-star game as well. Griffin has said he wouldn't do the dunk contest again, because of that reason.

Durant and Harden aren't super athletic. They are super skilled.

    LOL

    Nah, man... never could

5'6'' with a bad knee since 15 years old

    Maybe dunk a marble

Wilkins, Kemp, Carter, MJ, George, JR Smith, Kobe, Griffin, etc

Most of these dunks aren't contest-good, but these guys had a larger variety in-game

    fixed

Paul George also mixes it up pretty well with his dunks.

If anything before this year, he was known for his dunks more than anything else.

    Here's some "variety"

If these don't impress you, than i don't think anything short of an in game front flip dunk will.

Pretty sure it takes like 30 seconds to find 30 videos of awesome LeBron dunks.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Flashy dunks don't correlate with being a good offensive player.

Wasn't a Harden bash thread although the title was on purpose. Thought the OP cleared it up.

Feel free to revote 5 stars!!

i guess the argument could be made that players try less spectacular dunks for a few reasons
    - the refs tech for hanging onto the irng and or taunting post dunk
    - with the stats age we live in players might value a possession more
    - shaqtin a fool and social media
