Harden has supreme confidence playing against the Spurs I am sure he would love to play the Spurs over OKC and the Clippers.
I'm not scared of GSW or Portland. Im confident the Rockets can beat either team. You're right about Spurs regular season record, BUT Rockets have a better match-up against the Spurs even though they are the better team. Rockets strengths defensively at the Center and PG spot is perfect since Spurs best players are TD and Parker. Rockets simply cant beat the Clippers and OKC, the match-up isn't there. I don't think Rockets should jeopardize the best possible route to the Finals just to not play GSW in teh first round. GSW is not that great to game plan against them.
The rockets have no chance of beating the spurs. The spurs will make the guards of the rockets heads spin. The rockets are a good offensive team, but they lack the execution that it would take to really compete with the spurs in a significant game.
once again I dont disagree with anything you guys are saying. Clips, Thunder, or Spurs the Rockets are out matched. If you gave me a choice between these teams the Rockets would struggle to beat in the second round, I would chose the spurs. it is what it is.

We probably won't beat them, but you are incorrect on two accounts, we can beat them and guard play? Harden plays his best games against the spurs. Goto Spurstalk and see the 2 teams the spurs are looking to avoid: OKC and HOU. You guys were good last year, but just too offensively innept and the Spurs just exploited that. It will goto 7 games if the two play each other. The spurs just have way too much experience and will execute during that crucial time. We probably will beat GS, but I just don't like the matchup that much.
Why are you guys afraid of GSW in the 1st round? We play them really well and have pretty much dominated them these last 2 seasons.

The rockets d is better in the paint. The spurs only use the paint to get open 3s. Once the spurs have you reeling it is target practice. Timmy will pull dwight away from the paint, or score 30 a game because dwight don't want to guard him that far out. Trust me, you guys don't want to play the spurs. Your best bet is to play the thunder because westbrick and kd actually play more into the hands of what you guys do defensively.
