Rockets were on their way up 102-98 with 4 mins left. Then, on an out of bounds play, they gave up a wide open 3 to Ray Allen on the way to giving up 15 straight points. It was a complete meltdown.
I can't stand the color guy of the Clippers. He seems to be in a perpetual state of orgasm when talking about the LAC players. Calm down, guy. Lawyer, the play by play guy, is first class though.
It was a combination of the Rockets playing poorly, the Heat being desperate for a win, and the refs doing everything in their power to help Miami. I disagree BTW that the Heat are just coasting because they don't fear going on the road against the Pacers. They're playing bad right now. And they're gradually blowing home court in the Finals against the top 4 teams in the West. Granted, they lost in the Finals with home court against Dallas in 2011, and they won in the Finals without home court against OKC in 2012. But considering how important it was having Game 7 in their building last year against the Spurs and the inescapable fact that they're an inferior team this season, Miami really could use home court in the Finals if they hope to pull off a three-peat.
As long as Memphis has Zach and Gasol the Grizzlies are gonna be a good team. So don't be surprised if they beat a higher seed team
It wasn't *that* much of an opportunity. Pops and the Spurs have had GSW's number since... well... forever. And this is the 2nd time this season GSW has lost to the Spurs when Pops has had multiple stars on DNP. They beat GSW at GSW without Duncan, Parker or Ginobli the last game they played, and this time without Duncan, Parker or Bonner. I know Pops is resting his guys for the play offs, but sometimes I also wonder if he sits his stars just to challenge himself and his team. Pops : Oh, another GSW game... I wonder who I should rest tonight?
