While the team's consistency is something that's erratic, we also have to remember that the team is still VERY young, AND in their first year integrating a major player in D12, AND with multiple players adjusting to completely new roles (Tjones/Beverley starting, Asik/Lin back up, Hamilton just arrived, etc).

And it's not like they've stunk it up against all the good teams. They have a very solid share of quality wins against top caliber teams. The Spurs, Pacers, and the Heat. Yes, OKC and the Clippers have had our number, but the West is all about match ups.

And let's be honest, they've made a MAJOR step up not only since last year, but since early in the season.

This isn't a team of battle tested play off veterans. We need to stop holding them to that standard and instead look at the progression (even if you want to tear your hair out some nights).

Agree with torocan. This is a very young team. For me, anything extra we get now is icing on the cake.

While I'm content with our direction for the present season, damn, next season is going to be kick-ass for the team and us fans.

 

He was stating the obvious mantra. To be honest, even bad teams give this team a run for their money sometimes. The best approach is to put 100% effort into every game and play smart basketball.

 

It's a significant improvement that they're putting the lesser teams away. Remember what it was like just a few months ago. That was miserable.
