    The Sixers are rapidly closing in on the longest losing streak in NBA history as they redefine tanking. They've currently lost 21 games in a row, which ties them for the 6th worst losing streak ever. Here's where they currently stand:

    1 26 Cleveland Cavaliers 2010–11
    2 24 Cleveland Cavaliers 1981–82 through 1982-1983
    3 (tie) 23 Vancouver Grizzlies 1995–96
    3 (tie) 23 Denver Nuggets 1997–98
    3 (tie) 23 Charlotte Bobcats 2011–12 through 2012–13
    6 (tie) 21 Detroit Pistons 1979–80 through 1980–81
    6 (tie) 21 Philadelphia 76ers* 2013–14 (ongoing)

    And it doesn't help that the Phillies window is very very small to make the playoffs with that old and grossly overpaid roster. I bet Philly is waiting for August already ?

    Who cares? This is the right thing to do. They are developing young guys, trying out D-League guys and pumping up the value of whichever vets are still on the roster. This is the right way to rebuild when you have a terrible cap/roster situation. Tear it all down.

    They'll go as far as dealing Young during the draft, I'm sure of it.

    A valiant effort, but a loss nonetheless. Losing streak at 23 now. Sixers are tied for the 3rd longest losing streak in NBA history.
