If only Asik would've worked on his gum chewing last summer . . .

All kidding aside, I wonder how Morey weighs the value of Asik today in comparison to Lowry. Asik was a top 5 center at the beginning of the season. He's obviously still working on his game conditioning/timing, etc., but I gotta believe Lowry is rated higher at this point.

Definitely Lin. He is huge in Canada and their Asian population. Probably Dmo and some other fillers. Maybe Jones and Lin.

Yeah. Plus, Bev is better suited as a bench guy. He's just starting now because he has to.

Lowry plus some salary dump for Lin + a pick was probably the deal. But with Lowry playing the way he's playing, what's the point of picking up the pick. Lin would probably do pretty well in Toronto on their team and with their fans.

You're either in the top 10 or you're not. Idk, the way it sounds is silly to me.

1st round, esp. a low 1st round, is probably only about a mil, even less probably. That's gonna take a lot of cash.

Lowry makes more sense than Rondo, frankly. Rondo is costlier, an injury risk, and a personality conflict risk (meanwhile, Lowry has apparently matured).

Naah, he fought tooth and nail for us when our starters were Hayes, Scola, Martin.

He only completely tuned out when he lost his starting spot to Dragic. It was deja vu to what happened between him and AB, how he became the starter. So a lot of insecurity with him.

Earlier in the season with the Raptors, coach Duane Casey grew frustrated with him, favoring Calderon over him. Maybe his stubbornness at trying to prove himself; suddenly jacking up 3pters, going away from the game plan.

But now he's more settled and now toning down his ball dominance to give Greivis Vasquez more shots. I'm glad he learned to respect his coach. 3 teams, 3 outs--would not have been a good resume.

When is his contract ending? Yeah, I would welcome back our beloved bulldog.

I loved Kyle and would like to see him back in a Rockets uniform under the right circumstances.

It was a damn shame he couldn't grow up quick enough to endure the McHale transition.

Unless Lowry is restricted (and i have no idea if he is or isn't) I don't see why they'd turn a sign and trade for Lin down (as he could just walk for nothing). Lin will be expiring this next season so there's not much risk if he doesn't pan out either.

Am I the only one who would like to have Greivis Vasquez as a PG on this team too.

Oh man, Lowry would be excellent for this team.

He'd be an awesome 3rd option scoring wise, and would really bring us another gear.

Lowry and Bev tandem would be a nightmare for most PGs.

It's clear that the Rockets only leak stuff they think can be leaked without repercussions. For all the insiders we have, there really haven't been anything leaked that can damage the team. Dwight signing had no impact on the team because it was a FA signing and the Rockets had capspace anyway. James Harden trade? Not a single peep.

The Rockets aren't stupid. They leak out stuff now and then to give the fans some stuff to talk about. But notice that when something serious is about to happen and involves making critical changes to the team? We only hear it after the trade has been completed.
