    That is correct, sir. Our NBC affiliate delays Conan to 1+ am, and runs "Entertainment Tonight" and other syndicated fare afterwards until the morning news.

    sure... but when you're hometown hero is on the show, you cant help but watch it. By the way, I'd rather watch Conan myself... his Anna Nicole Smith immitations are the best...

    Damn it, now I wish I was back in College Station. I like this show. Carson tends to get unfairly associated with the crap music on TRL because he was the host. Few people know he was a rock DJ before he got the TRL gig. Some of the times I've stayed up and watched Last Call, I've seen him make fun of the groups that he used to pimp on TRL.

    Whats wrong with francis as a hometown hero. Would you laugh if it was about Kobe, or Garnett?? No. Many ballers in houston look up to Francis since he is the king of all ballers in houston.

    Not much different to me, than if someone from Cleveland told me that Ricky Davis is a "hometown hero".

    Francis is anything but a "hometown hero". Olajuwon, Nolan Ryan, Earl Campbell, Clyde Drexler, etc are hometown heroes. Francis is barely the flavor of the week in Houston. Francis has never brought a city to its feet. Maybe if we win a title, or come close to one, he will obtain "hometown hero" status.

    I don't care about who streetballers admire. Using that logic, Rafer Alston is slightly above Abraham Lincoln in stature.

    expect more stupid questions like:

    does yao speak english?

    does yao like rap?

    what does yao eat?

    what kind of things have you taught yao?

    how do you communicate with yao on the court?

    does yao know any curses in english? have you taught him any?

    probably around 25% of it will be dumb questions about yao(he is his teammate after all)it would look really really stupid, if all they asked him about was yao.
