I chose to bet on basketball 3 times this year. Cavaliers vs. Thunder. Thunder at home. Lost 100$ Nuggets vs. Heat. Heat at home. Lost 100$ Clippers at Nuggets tonight, lost 200 trying to win back what I lost. Do heavy underdogs only come out of the woodwork when I put money on the game? FML
haha sorry to hear that, but anyone who's ever gambled has been there at one point. I know those feels very well. Like most things in life - if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Great game by the Nuggets...Griffin and CP3 got the benefit of a lot of calls, but Denver persevered and won. Refs can only do so much for a team...they had the Clips in the bonus with 7+ mins left in the 4th qtr, but it wasn't enough. Sucks man and I know it's easy to say this afterwards, but why would you take the Clips in this spot? There's an NBA gambling thread on ClutchFans right here in the NBA Dish. I realize there's not a lot of interest in it at the moment, which is why I stopped posting in that thread. But I usually try to provide feedback whenever somebody posts in there. I've just been making spot bets here and there, but I posted my thoughts on this game at SBR last night. Basically Clips on a 2nd night of a b2b at Denver missing three rotation players (Crawford, Reddick, & Collison) and spread holding firm at 4,4.5 range meant that value was with the Nuggets, which is who I was on. The bookmakers gave the Mavs -5 at Denver and LAC only got -4,4.5. That was another indicator that the game was going to be really tight. For the record, I went 2-1 tonight (Rockets & Nuggets covered, but Bulls didn't). If you're looking at making a play tomorrow, a sharp one would be Kings +1 at home against Wiz or a more public play that would have a chance of cashing may be Heat -9 at Cleveland. Hope this helps.
