yes he is. he can connect with all the crowd, snarks, marks, soccer moms... and he's amazing in the ring. just watch this video, the entire crowd is his. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1Htdwmcr9AE
Please, the in-ring ability of performers nowadays is far better than it's ever been. Ziggler, Bryan, Punk, Cesaro (who I honestly think may be the best in ring performer ever, no hyperbole), I could name many others. Unfortunately, the powers that be want their top guys to heavily restrict their move sets for most matches. Cena gets all the flak for 5 moves of doom, but pretty much all of the top guys, even a technical master like Daniel Bryan, only use a handful of moves, that way when they decide they want a really good match, they allow the wrestlers to do more. Many more matches are televised nowadays, so they often play it safely, and go through the motions.
I disagree, back in the day there were some high flyers in the game, not too mention they had this mysticism, this spiritual like being you just don't get nowadays. When I watch these new guys now, I'm like, "Yeah you're athletic but it just seems like a day job for them."
I hate to bring up the name, but the best in ring performer I have ever seen was Chris Benoit. Bret Hart is a very close second. Cesaro, so far. Is pretty high on the list though. Too early to really rank him. His body of work is just starting.
Macho Man Randy Savage. Nobody jumps higher than him on the top of that turnbuckle landing that flying elbow drop. I'm talking specifically WWE only. The dude has hangtime like no other I've seen in the ring, when he's up there, I swear it's like 5 secs before he drops that sick ass elbow. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/7gBt0zNyi1I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It's called ring psychology. Yes, current wrestlers are generally more athletic than they used to be. They do more unique moves. However, good wrestlers in the old days were much better at ring psychology. It wasn't just about what moves to do, it was about when to do them, how to make them look real, how to get crowds to buy into the drama, etc. The generation of wrestlers that has come up since about 2000 is largely devoid of psychology and strong selling and acting skills in the ring.
I'd add Malenko, Lance Storm, Regal, Ultimo Dragon too that list with Bryan, Punk and 2004 era Samoa Joe
I know, it's an amazing video. bryan can connect with the croud in so many ways. this video gives me the chills also, just awesome!
On a scale of 1-10 how angry would you be if HHH beat Daniel Bryan and then went on to win the triple threat match? It won't happen but that would be so damn funny!

Got mine after Smackdown tonight....same section too..112 row 8 for 30 bucks!! Smackdown was pretty decent....
I wouldn't be that mad at all..... 1) It would give Daniel Bryan a huge...huge...win if/when he does take the belt away from someone...why not let it be HHH..the man that has made his life a living **** for a year. 2) Who would you rather see walk out of Wrestlemania with it if not DB? I'm not sure I can take another Randy Orton month, or Bautista struggling to get a sentence out each time he speaks. Obviously I'd love for DB to win. However, if HHH didn't add this little stipulation, there wouldn't be much hype for his and DB's match, because people would know DB would win and be in the triple threat match. This not only gives people cause for concern, but it almost tilts it into HHH's favor if I had to be a betting man. Anyways, just a thought.
Yeah, they were advertising the heck out of this tonight at Smackdown. I know they catering to the kids, but that trailer was terrible
I saw a few of the Slam City episodes. A bit corny yeah but I'm sure I would've ate them up as a kid like I did Celebrity Death Match and stuff.
