I've heard that Yao is having a fight against Coca Cola for infringement of portrait rights. It seems Coca Cola uses Yao's portrait for ads without his authorization. Can anybody tell me a little about the details? If it's true, I guess Coca Cola will be gone for the rest of my life ...
Aren't you blowing this way out of proportion and taking this a bit too seriously. I like Yao, but changing one's lifestyle to match the beliefs of any celebrity is not good in my opionion.
you are stupid, I could care less, hell coke can screw over yao for all I care ( i dont wish this) but damn coke taste good and if i wanna drink it I'm not gonna worry bout that bs :-D
That does it, I'm a Dr. Pepper man for life now. d'oh.. wait a minute.. DP is made by Coca Cola.. ok.. I'll drink Sprite from now on.. @$(*@! don't tell me I'm going to have to drink Pepsi =\ I'd rather drink my own special fluids
I’ve been boycotting Coca-Cola for years because I don’t like the taste of their products. I’ve never liked Coke and probably never will.
Just so yall know...... Coca Cola had every right to use Yao Ming's image on their products. They have a deal with the Chinese National Team that allows then to use a maximum of 3 players to promote their products If Yao does not like this he should take it up with the CNT. Another funny tidbit is that the new Houston Arena might sell the naming rights to the Coca Cola company. Yao Ming can endorse Pepsi all he likes, but he will probably be playing in the Coca Cola Center. Once again Coke defeats Pepsi!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, I will always drink Coke!! No matter what. Pepsi is nasty!!!
Just remember this...Pepsi's deal with Yao might take Coca Cola out of the running for the arena naming rights, which means that Gallery Furniture has that much of a better shot... :::shudders::: ...and, no, Dr. Pepper is NOT made by Coca Cola...Dr. Pepper is owned by Cadbury Schwepps (ginger ale and chocolate), who also own 7 Up... carry on...
Coke does not own Dr Pepper. Coke bottles Dr Pepper in some areas like houston, so some cans say bottled by Coca Cola Enterpise. Dr Pepper is actually owned by Cadbury Shwepps who also owns 7 up and RC Cola and is headquartered in Dallas.
Really! I think they use real sugar like Coke used to. (yummy!) I drink Diet Coke here in Texas... but only if it's REAL cold. Uh, Yao... try the real thing, bro!
Deckard, yep. the Mexican Coke is actually the original Coke that we grew up drinking. then, Coke found out they could use corn syrup (cheaper) instead of real sugar and increase profits. fortunately, you can still get the bottled Mexican Coke for about $1 - 1.50 at some stores. yum!
