Another thing I noticed at the end of Harden's 3 Bev grabs the ball and hands it to the ref. Where was the technical there? Rockets would've not done it in the fourth quarter if the refs were consistent.

 

True dat. This one play almost made the excruciating loss worth watching.

 

Good point. Don't even get me started on that "technical". In almost every competitive team sport, an athlete returns the ball/puck to the official casually quite frequently. If anything, it should be a technical for "speeding up" the game. Dwight got T'd because he didn't allow the official to go retrieve the ball. That's like leaving a mess on the floor because the janitor will clean it up for you. NBA - where whistles happen.
