I think they should give everyone drink tickets (5 or so?) at the door of each event, that could be redeemed for free drinks, then once you are out, you are out.

Suspect is Black Male. Blood Test on the way. Will be charged with two counts of capital murder. No news on where he is from. 1 cyclist from the Netherlands was killed as well as a female from Austin who was on the back of a moped.
Breaking news at the festival! Drunk driver kills 2 and injures 23 going the wrong way on the main strip. Very sad.
I'm not sure what the "main strip" is but it was not 6th street which is where most people are. It was on Red River street a few blocks up which has a lot of concert venues and was barricaded off.
Main strip? Does it really matter at this point. I would consider everywhere in down town a main strip considering how many people are there.

I was pointing out that no one knows what "main strip" is but saying that would most likely suggest 6th street which was not the case. It doesn't matter unless you specifically want to state the location. If you do, then get it right. While other places are populated, 6th street still has hundreds of more people.
Driver is Rashad Charjuan Owens, 22, of Killeen. He was driving a stolen car (KVUE). This might not be a case of a drunk driver at all. Just a petty criminal.
tragic. even worse the guy was trying to evade police due to drinking and driving. probably thought he was in the fast and the furious or something
how do you even know that person was drunk because he attended sxsw, then got in his car and ran over people? people can be drunk anywhere
