the fact that guys like Adams and Thabeet could pretty much render Howard ineffective just goes to show how pedestrian Howards post-game really is.

Howard needs to be our guy in the paint, doing the dirty work. rebounding, put back dunks, allyoop off pick and rolls, blocking and altering shots.

By now, it's clear that Dwight's not going to be a reliable threat in the post.

Once we stop trying to force feed Dwight in the post, the better off our offense will be.

We are fine, OKC played hard against the Rockets because this team is a team on a mission. This game with OKC is more of a mind game for the Rockets. The rockets are just as talent as OKC, when these guys realize this, they will be a force to deal with. On another note: When we play our guys in these kinds of games, 44mins. to 46 mins. They have to pull deep within to make it happen, these are the kind of things the Rockets will learn. Would have love to see them win but we are still ok. Go Rockets !

We can't win them all so no sir losing to a top 2 team is not a let down. Plus OKC have our number.

How did Memphis slow him? They beat OKC often. So perhaps McHale & Morey need to watch those films to see what strategy will slow him down.

you mean in the playoffs? there was no westbrook in that series so they were doubling and triple teaming him.

i'll say it again, DURANT CAN DO THIS TO ANYONE ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT.

I stopped watching this game after the 2nd half. I knew just from the way Rockets were playing in the first quarter that we weren't going to win.

Keys that really made me mad.

    1) Patman thought he was actually good enough to go mano-e-mano with Westbrook. All he end up doing was taking reckless shots. And for all his antics on Westbrook? He got a tech and fouls. In a game against OKC, you can't foul against them since they're so good on the line. And what does Bev do? He completely threw away any basketball scheme that Rockets should have executed and just try to go at Westbrook. I'm not even surprised to find out that he foul Westbrook twice on the 3 point line.

    2) Don't even get me started on Dwight. This dude is making how much? And he let's a rookie completely punk him twice? I wasn't aware that Steve Adam was apparently Hakeem/Russel/Ewing in disguise.

    3) Harden being passive.

Just watching the highlights, it looks like OKC played some hard-nosed defense. Almost every shot was contested hard, and there weren't that many shots that made the highlight to begin with.

Dwight sucked tonite. His positioning was off - hitting the side of back board, passing to Asik, missing almost every shot. Bev is too intense out there. Silly turnovers and just lack luster effort in general.

We better win the last one vs okc.

Durant played gr8 and I still hate westbitch.

I only got to see some of this game but looking at the box score, Harden did his thing and showed up, Parsons and Howard were no shows offensively, Bev got into foul trouble, and Westbrook and Durant drew whatever fouls they wanted.
