After tonight, I think they are seriously the best team in the NBA right now. Despite what haters say, they are a serious threat to do well in the playoffs.

    Thoughts?

They've been the best since last night, when the Clippers were the best.

I still sense a lot of weakness with the Thunder. Tonight's game helped them because it was a win, but they didn't look that great to me. I follow them fairly closely and things still aren't right. As well as they played, they could not put the Rockets away.

Yes they can, they were missing Perkins and he is known to Shut Howard down and Harden struggles to score against them aswell

Face it they could destroy us in a series

As has been said countless times before today: the contenders are
HOU, SAS, MIA, IND, LAC, and OKC

I don't think there is a clear best team in the NBA right now... its up for grabs and they have as good a shot as anybody.

No doubt they are the worst possible matchup for the Rockets. My point is, based on tonight, they aren't fully back on track and I'm not sure Perkins and Thabo put them over the top.

I say the West remains wide open. If OKC steadies themselves over the next couple of weeks, I'll be the first to say so.

AKA when OKC aren't near their best, the Rockets still can't hang with them

I would still put Miami and Spurs above them. I just feel Miami has this extra gear that they can switch on, and when you have Lebron and Wade on the same team...no other team's best day can match when Lebron and Wade are having there best day. Questions are there tho about there health and motivation.

Spurs are probably the best team right now in the NBA since they have everyone back and healthy. They have the experience and the perfect pieces and are very well coached and I think they are even better now that what they were last year especially there bench. They are hungry and no one in this team is selfish, everyone is brought in to only keep there eye on that ring.

Here are my list of tiers when it comes to contenders:

    Tier 1: Spurs & Miami

    Tier 2: OKC & Indiana

    Tier 3: Clippers & Houston

Tier 4 (Dark Horse): Blazers & Bulls

I like Carl's thread. They're funny and sarcastic. At least it's not a Tinman thread.
