Going into winning time down the stretch in playoff games, who do you want on the floor with Harden, Howard, and Parsons when we gotta have a bucket?

Lin seems to gain synergy from Bev.

Its going to be matchup based.

That's the beauty of this team, and credit the coaching staff for having all these guys ready to play.

Hell, I expect to see Garcia here and there before the season is over, as he still represents one of the only true marks-men from long-range.

    Beverley.

And the other player I would say depends on the matchup. I could see Lin, Jones, DMo or Hamilton.

Yeah? So tell me. ... What offensive playoff match up would you prefer to see Jones, DMo, or Hamilton out there when we need a bucket?

Against Memphis, when Randolph and Gasol are there, and we have no timeouts, I want Bev and DMo out there.

Bev, Lin, Parsons, Dwight, Harden make more sense than that.

    Spot #1, or the PG
    A) Beverley 90-95% of the time
    B) Lin 5-10% of the time (if he's on fire and the other team is big, meaning we can't go with 2 PGs)

    Spot #2
    A) Lin (at SG) about 30% of the time, if he's playing confidently and the other team isn't murdering us inside (if they were, we'd have to scratch the small-ball lineup)
    B) Jones (at PF) about 35% of the time, if he's playing well and the match-up is solid.
    C) Hamilton (at SF/PF with Parsons) about 25% of the time - if Lin's off, and he's on, or if the opponent is a wing-heavy group.
    D) Motiejunas (at PF) about 10% of the time, if Jones is playing poorly and they're big inside.

I'm starting to get impressed by how many different ways you guys can word pro/anti Jeremy Lin threads.

I'm even more impressed by how you can read pro/anti Lin into every thread.

This thread nor the other one I posted today is about Lin per se. It's about who you trust closing games for us. The big takeaway here is that 75% of us Do Not want to see Jones nor DMO in crunch time. Take a look at both polls together. That's what they were about.

This is kinda of ridiculous because it's all matchup based. Those of you wanting a SF at the 4 are creatures of the moment, you usually need bigs on the floor.

Jones is probably most common, but sometimes D Mo is outplaying him.

Maybe we needs Asiks's size, or slide Parsons to the 4 and play Lin like Sunday.

Or maybe Lin is going off and he finishes instead of Bev.

Your closing lineup in the playoffs/finals is going to be Lin, Bev, Parsons, Dwight, and Harden. Asik, Hamilton, Jones, and DMO will play sparingly in crunch time. .. Only for a particular or special situation possession when we need to take a foul or when someone is in foul trouble or perhaps we need a defensive stop so we take Harden and Lin out in favor of Asik and Hamilton or there is an injury or we need free throw shooters in to knock down foul shots or we need a bunch of 3-point shooters in to knock down a 3.

Those are all special circumstances and except for injury are just fleeing seconds in a game.

Our closers are Bev, Lin, Harden, Dwight, Harden.

    Bev/Lin/Harden/Parsons/Howard

Lin seems to shoot better in the clutch. We need one more strong game out of this Asian-Californian-American.

This is to generate offense not to generate bench warmth

Against OKC, you gotta increase the variance and play small. Spread the floor and shoot threes. Either Lin and Bev or Bev and Garcia.
